Sanford-Burnham Institute Project Overview
Canin Associates is working with Lake Nona Property Holdings, Perkins+Will Architects and Burnham to develop the master plan and landscape design for the new Burnham Institute for Medical Research at Lake Nona.
The research facility will anchor the Lake Nona Science and Technology Park, alongside UCFs healthcare campus, which houses the College of Medicine at Lake Nona.
The landscape design embraces the concepts of sustainable site planning, water-efficient landscape and lighting techniques in accordance with LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) design criteria established by the U.S. Green Building Council
