Winter Park Form-Based Code Project Overview
With a great amount of preparation and public input, the 7-day charrette process allowed the design team to come up with some coherent and effective solutions for the City of Winter Park. The form-based code, which has been formatted as a SmartCode, lays out specific requirements for all new development that happens within the City’s commercial corridors and the Central Business District.
Additionally, urban design and architectural design guidelines have been completed to ensure that the quality of development lives up to residents expectations. With a successful charrette behind us, the design team and the City can look forward with optimism at the future development that is headed for Winter Park
